Following the departure of Chief Austin Stanphill, Tim Campbell was officially pinned as chief of the Granite Shoals Fire Department on Dec. 14. Stanphill left the city on Dec. 9 for undisclosed private reasons, according to city staff. Campbell served as assistant fire chief under Stanphill and was promoted with his departure.
