In response to “growing issues” stemming from the use of electronic devices, the Boys & Girls Club of the Highland Lakes barred the use of electronic devices on its premises, according to a statement from the organization.

Unemployment figures for Burnet and Llano counties fell in March 2021 as seasonal employment began to pick up, according to figures released by the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC). The unadjusted unemployment rate of the nine-county Workforce Solutions Rural Capital Area of Central Texas dropped to 5.3 percent in March, down from 5.6 percent in February, with 5,722 more people employed in the region than last month.
