City code officers upgrade surveillance cameras

A keen eye may notice an “eye in the sky” watching every move from atop utility poles in alleyways in downtown Marble Falls. While the illegal dumping warnings remain indefinitely, municipal code enforcement officers have removed some intermittently to upgrade the technology.

Thirteen lucky organizations will receive a financial shot in the arm Tuesday, March 23, at the next Burnet County Commissioners Court meeting. Mark Mayfield, president of the Capital Area Housing Finance Corporation (CAH-FC) and a Burnet County resident, will present checks to area non-profit organzations for the second time in two years.
