Llano County and the Capital Area Council of Governments (CAPCOG) want to know how county residents see the future of economic and transportation opportunities in the county. So they’re hosting two meetings to get public input.

The first will be Wednesday, Oct. 6 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Llano Library, 102 E. Haynie St., Llano. No date or location are set for the second meeting, but officials said it would be later in October.

Data from the meetings will be used to update a transportation and economic development plan started in 2015, according to a CAPCOG news release.

“Residents should play a vital role in helping our Llano County communities grow in the direction they want,” said County Judge Ron Cunningham.

Officials said the plan’s update could be finished later this year when county commissioners have the chance to adopt it.
