After meeting all requests by city departments, a proposal by a group called Downtown Soapbox Derby has received the green light to continue planning for the event in Marble Falls. The event was canceled in 2020 after city officials and planners with the former host Adult Soapbox Derby Association failed to reach an agreement on a scaled back version.
