The Faith Academy football team advanced to the second round of the TAPPS playoffs after a 48-0 win on Saturday over Ovilla Christian School of Red Oak. On Friday Oct. 15, all eyes in six-man football will be on Marble Falls as the Faith Academy Flames host the Veritas Defenders.

At the conclusion of the 2020-21 basketball season, 20 local players were named to their respective All-District teams, including a Faith Academy senior being named District MVP. The Flames boys placed eight players on the TAPPS 2A District 4 list; the Faith Academy starting lineup all made the first team with senior Carter Slyker named most valuable player.

The Faith Academy Flames moved to 1-0 in district play with a 60-22 victory over Summit Christian Academy on Tuesday night at home. In a match unlike any other, fans got to witness some of the more obscure rules of TAPPS basketball, especially in the pandemic era, play out on the court.
