Community Worship Night draws a crowd for fellowship

The Community Worship Night cultivated a spirit of unity where area residents came together Friday, July 23 as one body to fellowship, enjoy good food, sing and worship God. Thanks to a network of more than 20 local churches, vendors, first responders and volunteers the event at Quarry Park in Granite Shoals was a tremendous success with over 500 people in attendance.

Paleface payoff pledge proposed

Marble Falls ISD could soon be on the receiving end of a big check from Lake Travis ISD. Trustees heard from administrators at Monday’s regular meeting about a proposed payoff of allocated debt arising from the portion of Paleface Ranch subdivision which was detached from Marble Falls ISD and taken into Lake Travis ISD some 15 years ago.

MFISD to spend $760k on LED lights

The Marble Falls Independent School District Board of Trustees voted to move towards improved energy efficiency in the school district, including at Mustang Stadium, by upgrading to LED lighting. The board approved more than $760,000 from the 2018 bond package for the purchase and installation of the improved lighting at the regular board meeting on Monday, June 14.
