James Nelson Morgan
August 22, 1941 —July 16, 2024 James Nelson Morgan passed away on July 16, 2024, in Kingsland, Texas at the age of 82. He was a talented engineer and athlete who believed physics was a gateway to understanding the universe, and he enjoyed spending time with his friends and family at home, on the golf course, or in the pool hall.

Safe Streets 4 All initiative will help keep kids safe
The Cottonwood Shores City Council voted recently to hire a grant administration to assist our city in securing funds through the National Roadway Safety Strategy for development of a Comprehensive Safety Action Plan and ultimately funding to improve and widen streets in Cottonwood Shores.
