CPR device will strengthen Cassie response
The Cassie Volunteer Fire Department and EMS will purchase a new automated external CPR device to enable responders to deliver high-quality, continuous resuscitation efforts in cardiac emergencies, thanks to a $19,543 grant from the Lower Colorado River Authority and Pedernales Electric Cooperative.

LCRA awards $19K grant to Sunrise Beach VFD
The Sunrise Beach Volunteer Fire Department soon will construct a medevac emergency landing pad at Sandy Park, thanks to a $19,857 grant from the Lower Colorado River Authority. The Community Development Partnership Program grant, along with $4,965 in matching funds from the department, will facilitate construction of a much-needed landing pad for medevac helicopters to land and pick up patients in Sunrise Beach Village.

Meadowlakes City staff to finalize community center plans
City of Meadowlakes The Meadowlakes City staff, architects, and engineers will meet this coming week to go over 90% plans for the Meadowlakes Community Center in order to finalize changes and accurately estimate costs before continuing on to the bidding process.
