You may follow these appeal procedures if you have a concern about: • the market or appraised value of your property; • the unequal value of your property compared with other properties; • the inclusion of your property on the appraisal records, • any exemptions that may apply to you; • the qualification for an agricultural or timber appraisal; • the taxing units taxing your property; • the property ownership; • the change of use of land receiving special appraisal; • failure of the chief appraiser or appraisal review board (ARB) to send a required notice; or • Circuit breaker, or • any action taken by the chief appraiser, county appraisal district (CAD) or appraisal review board (ARB) that applies to and adversely affects you. 05/06/2025 04:12 AM

Ukrainian sculptor Serge Mozhnevsky, who lives in Vancouver, will be at Museo Benini with a talk about his life and work as a sculptor this Sunday, May 11, at 1 p.m. His 10-foot sculpture, “The Inner and Outer World of Benini” was the first commissioned sculpture at the ranch which now features 52 sculptures on the trails. 05/06/2025 04:12 AM

Capital Highlights A Texas House bill would eliminate the State of Texas Assessment of Academic Readiness test and replace it with a test comparing students’ performance to one another rather than state-set standards, the Austin American- Statesman reported.
