Divers have recovered the body of man June 3 who disappeared into the water and didn't resurface at a residence on Lake LBJ, according to Texas Parks and Wildlife.

A Kingsland man died in a vehicle crash May 3 after a piece of debris flew into his windshield, while driving on RR 1431 in Llano County. The incident happened at 4:28 p.m.

FEMA aims to help Burnet, Llano counties

Burnet and Llano County business owners, homeowners and renters now are eligible to apply for Individual Assistance from the Federal Emegency Management Agency (FEMA) if they suffered damage from Winter Storm Uri, which pummeled Texas last month.

Baylor Scott & White Marble Falls is scheduled to receive 1,170 additional doses of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine. A total of 6,067 doses of the vaccine has been distributed in Burnet County. Contributed

Llano County was able to vaccinate more than 700 individuals with the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine at four locations in Llano, including a large clinic held at the Lutie Watkins United Methodist Church, said Dr. Jack Franklin, the Llano County health authority.
