The Sept. 11 attacks on the Pentagon and the World Trade Centers happened 20 years ago. Most of us remember where we were and how we felt when it happened.

Organizations around Marble Falls are offering multiple ways to remember the events and discuss them with their friends and neighbors.

Marble Falls VFW

The Marble Falls Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #10376 will host a morning of remembrance for the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 on Saturday, Sept. 11.

The day will start at Horseshoe Bay Hotel at 9 a.m. with the Post’s Color Guard.

At 10 a.m., a “Where were you?” discussion will be held at the Post Headquarters, 1001 Veterans Drive in Marble Falls. Discussion participants will talk about where they were when the events unfolded and how it has impacted their life since.

At 11 a.m., post members will deliver lunch boxes to on-duty first responders in Marble Falls and Kingsland.
