The city of Granite Shoals and the Hill Country Humane Society (HCHS) have decided to rekindle a partnership to help the community take care of stray dogs and cats. According to Llano County Attorney Dwain K. Rogers, the investigation of a complaint alleging violations of the Texas Election Code during the March 2024 Republican primary in Llano County has been concluded with no charges being filed. Normally, investigations of citizen complaints, both civil and criminal, are not publicly disclosed upon completion and rejection of a complaint. Unfortunately, a recent text message that discloses the existence of the investigation has been sent out to Llano County residents today.
