Marble Falls City Council approved a conditional use permit July 16 that would clear a dilapidated property and expand housing options for low-income residents. Investigators have not released the cause of Lover's Hill fire which scorched more than 45 acres.
Area crews contain blaze
A brush fire, which scorched 47 acres in a wildland area between Burnet and Marble Falls, was contained with the assistance of the Texas Forest Service. The battle, referred to as the Lover’s Hill fire, began on Friday, July 12, and kept fire crews from the Marble Falls, Granite Shoals and Kingsland area busy for much of the weekend. 07/16/2024 03:56 AM
