A few weeks ago an article appeared in the Killeen Daily Herald about Texas becoming the nation’s top beekeeping state. Significant rainfall brings relief to drought conditions

It has been a while since we last saw the floodgates in operation on the Highland Lakes chain of lakes. One photo shows one floodgate opened July 24 on Starke Dam.
