Former Mustangs winning basketball to hold 1979 reunion

More than 40 years after their Regional playoff run, the 1979 Marble Falls boys basketball team will celebrate Coach Abbott and David Shrubar Day. The event will be held on Saturday, Nov. 13 from noon to 4 p.m. at the Westside Park community hall, and the public is invited to join and talk about the old days.

Mustangs open flood gates on visiting Vikings

The Marble Falls High School football team dominated both sides of the ball on Friday night to earn a 76-0 homecoming win against Austin Navarro. The Mustangs (5-3, 2-2) scored touchdowns on their first four plays from scrimmage and added a defensive score to create a 34-0 lead with barely half of the first quarter in the books.
