Contending with the great smartphone dumb down
Has your intuition told you that something is very dissonant and disconnecting in our culture with respect to the proliferation of smartphones? If it has not, then you must either be a teenager with no framework of normalcy, or an adult smartphone addict with cultural amnesia. It smacked me in the face recently when I was out at the Llano River slab near Kingsland, looking for pretty rocks and enjoying the great outdoors.
