School's out for summer
Spicewood Elementary School celebrated end of the school year with a field day, which included colorful outdoor activities. School was dismissed for summer break on May 23. The first day of the 2024-25 school year is Aug. 14.

New leadership takes the helm at Lake Buchanan/Inks chamber
On Thursday, May 9, the Lake Buchanan/ Inks Lake Chamber of Commerce announced the retirement of Steve Buchanan as the executive director of the chamber and manager of the Visitor Center. Steve was awarded a plaque stating his lifetime membership in honor of his years of service to the chamber and work at the visitor center.

Tribute concert to feature nostalgic artists from 1970s
