Local beauty wins top crown at pageant
Special to The Highlander On Sunday, Oct. 27, 11-year-old Adilyn Smiles from Sunrise Beach com - peted in the Our Little Miss Texas State Schol - arship Pageant in Bastrop. From the time she was 6, this little girl's dream was to win the coveted robe and scepter and reign with a group of girls who she could become sisters with. Not only did she win Queen in her division with the title of Texas' Univer - sal Beauty but she also came home with Model of the Year and Miss Photo genic. She currently holds every title from the local Aqua Boom pageant here in Kingsland where she began her pageant journey at just 1 year old. 11/12/2024 04:21 AM
