Special to The Highlander For a traditional annual celebration with food, this year in memory of Ruby Ross, the CASI Regional Chili Championship known as Howdy Roo will be held May 2 and 3. CRC receives $10K from Shoot for Coop
The Burnet County Community Resource Center (CRC) received a generous $10,000 donation from Shoot for Coop, an organization dedicated to making a difference in the Hill Country in memory of Cooper Despain. The funds will support individuals and families in need, including providing transportation for elderly residents without family support—the “Orphaned Elderly”—to ensure they can attend vital medical appointments without worry. 02/18/2025 02:25 AM
