Tranquility will star at quilt guild anniversary
Highland Lakes Quilt Guild (HLQG) will celebrate the group’s 25th anniversary as part of the biennial Quilt Festival. The HLQG 2025 Quilt Festival, April 2526, stars a donation quilt titled Tranquility, made by 30 master quilters and lovingly quilted by January’s speaker Leslie Sparks.

Auditions for ‘Steel Magnolias’ scheduled
Hill Country Community Theatre (HCCT) is thrilled to announce open auditions for its upcoming production of “Steel Magnolias,” the beloved comedy- drama set in a small-town Louisiana beauty salon. Auditions will be held on Saturday, Jan. 18, at 6 p.m. and Sunday, Jan 19, at 2 p.m. at the theater at 4003 W FM 2147, in Cottonwood Shores.
