Comptroller Glenn Hegar named Texas A&M chancellor
The Texas A&M University System Board of Regents named Comptroller Glenn Hegar as the lone finalist to be the system’s next chancellor. Three Marble Falls powerlifters qualify for the state meet
The Marble Falls High School boys powerlifting team finished third at the Region 2 Division 2 meet March 8. The Mustangs were led by Daniel Dominguez, David Dominguez and Arnulfo Salazar, who will compete at the Class 4A state meet March 21 at the Taylor County Expo Center in Abilene.

Crew drills down on water feature work
A crew is transforming lots on the shoreline of Lake Marble Falls, ushering in millions of dollars of citywide parks improvements. Adjacent to Lakeside Park off Yett Street on Buena Vista Drive, crews have cleared and prepped property owned by Marble Falls Economic Development Corporation (EDC) for a water fall feature, extended concrete walkways, stairs and a pedestrian bridge.
