For the past two weeks, scattered thunderstorms have dumped from 1-5 inches of rain with each event in areas throughout the Highland Lakes. “The level of Lake Buchanan is expected to slowly rise within a range of 1,003 'It’s important to remember that although lake levels are up a bit, our water supply reservoirs remain stressed by the ongoing drought.' — John Hofmann LCRA Vice President of Water - 1,004 feet msl over the next several days,” John Hofmann, LCRA executive vice president of Water, told The Highlander. 05/17/2024 02:58 AM
